{"id":17054,"date":"2021-07-06T10:35:51","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T10:35:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.otpor.media\/index.php\/2021\/07\/06\/https-otpor-media-znanstvenici-u-laboratoriju-izradili-kristal-od-elektrona\/"},"modified":"2021-07-06T10:35:51","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T10:35:51","slug":"https-otpor-media-znanstvenici-u-laboratoriju-izradili-kristal-od-elektrona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otpor.media\/?p=17054","title":{"rendered":"Znanstvenici u laboratoriju izradili kristal od elektrona"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elektroni se naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e pona\u0161aju vi\u0161e ili manje poput teku\u0107ine te slobodno teku kroz materijal, no, teoretski fizi\u010dar Eugene Wigner je 1934. godine predvidio da bi se skupina elektrona mogla kristalizirati u \u010dvrsti oblik pod odre\u0111enim uvjetima, formiraju\u0107i fazu koja je danas poznata kao Wignerov kristal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Takve strukture su teoretizirane desetlje\u0107ima, a znanstvenicima ETH Zuricha je sada po prvi puta po\u0161lo za rukom da ih eksperimentalno potvrde u laboratoriju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kako biste do\u0161li do takvih struktura, trebate posti\u0107i to\u010dno pravu ravnote\u017eu izme\u0111u dviju sila koje utje\u010du na elektrone: njihove elektrostati\u010dke odbojnosti i njihove gibljive energije. Potonji je sna\u017eniji u\u010dinak koji uzrokuje poskakivanje elektrona nasumce, no ako se to mo\u017ee dovoljno smanjiti kako je predlo\u017eio Wigner, tada bi odbojnost mogla &#8220;zaklju\u010dati&#8221; elektrone u jednoli\u010dnu re\u0161etku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To se pokazalo nezgodnijim nego \u0161to mo\u017eda zvu\u010di. Gusto\u0107u elektrona treba smanjiti iznad odre\u0111ene to\u010dke, zatvoriti ih u &#8220;zamku&#8221; i ohladiti gotovo do apsolutne nule, kako bi se smanjio vanjski utjecaj na njihovo kretanje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Znanstvenici iz ETH Z\u00fcricha uspjeli su ispuniti sve te zahtjeve kako bi stvorili Wignerov kristal. Kako bi ograni\u010dili elektrone, koristili su listi\u0107 molibendenovog diselenida debljine jednog atoma, \u010dime su ograni\u010dili kretanje elektrona na dvije dimenzije. Kako bi kontrolirali broj elektrona, stisnuli su materijal izme\u0111u dvije grafenske elektrode, a cijeli je sustav ohla\u0111en blizu apsolutne nule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nakon toga se pojavio Wignerov kristal, no promatranje njega je bio potpuno drugi izazov &#8211; problem je u tome \u0161to je razdvajanje elektrona toliko si\u0107u\u0161no, oko 20 nanometara, da ga mikroskopi ne mogu ni vidjeti. Prethodne studije koje su poku\u0161avale stvoriti Wignerove kristale morale su se oslanjati na neizravne metode kako bi ih otkrile, poput promjena u struji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Za novo istra\u017eivanje tim je koristio novu metodu. Osvjetljavali su svjetlost na materijalu na to\u010dno odre\u0111enoj frekvenciji da pobude ono \u0161to se u poluvodi\u010du naziva &#8220;eksitonima&#8221;, odnosno neutralnim kvazi\u010desticama sastavljenim od jednog elektrona i jedne \u0161upljine koji su vezani Coulombovom silom, koje vra\u0107aju svjetlost natrag.
