Swiss-Roll proces, inspiriran spu\u017evastim cilindri\u010dnim kola\u010dima umotanim s debelim slojevima pekmeza (\u0161vicarska rolada). No, umjesto da se okrenu \u0161e\u0107eru i bra\u0161nu, znanstvenici su na napetu povr\u0161inu vafla postavili kolektore struje i trake elektroda od polimernih, metalnih i dielektri\u010dnih materijala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Odstranjivanjem ovih pojedina\u010dnih slojeva napetost se osloba\u0111a i materijali se vra\u0107aju natrag, zamataju\u0107i se jedan oko drugog kako bi poprimili istu arhitekturu kao \u0161vicarska rolada \u010dime se stvara &#8220;mikro baterija s cilindri\u010dnim samonamotavanjem&#8221;.
