Znanstvenici su do\u0161li do te spoznaje nakon potresa uzrokovanih padom dvaju meteorita na Crveni planet, u prosincu 2021. godine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seizmi\u010dke valove od udara meteorita, uhvatila je NASA-ina sonda InSight na Marsu. To je ujedno i prvi put da su znanstvenici izmjerili seizmi\u010dke valove koji se kre\u0107u po povr\u0161ini drugog planeta i koji su im dali prvi uvid u koru Marsa izvan neposrednog podru\u010dja polo\u017eaja sonde InSight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">InSight je na Crveni planet sletio jo\u0161 2018. godine i otkriva seizmi\u010dke valove na tom planetu. Brzina ovih valova mo\u017ee otkriti geolo\u0161ke karakteristike materijala kroz koji prolaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doyeon Kim sa Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta ETH Zurich u \u0160vicarskoj i njegovi kolege otkrili su da su se povr\u0161inski valovi koji su dolazili do NASA-inog robota s mjesta udara meteorita kretali br\u017ee od o\u010dekivanog, odnosno oko 3,2 kilometra u sekundi. Do tih udara, InSight je mogao prou\u010davati samo seizmi\u010dke valove koji su nastali unutar pla\u0161ta ili jezgre planeta i putovali prema njemu. Ti duboki seizmi\u010dki valovi pokazali su da je kora ispod mjesta slijetanja sastavljena od tri razli\u010dita sloja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me\u0111utim, analiza znanstvenika otkrila je da ova vrsta strukture nije reprezentativna za Mars kao cjelinu, a kora kroz koju su se kretali povr\u0161inski valovi bila je gu\u0161\u0107a od onoga \u0161to je otkriveno dubinskim seizmi\u010dkim valovima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To je prili\u010dno iznena\u0111uju\u0107e jer, kada gledamo povr\u0161inske valove, struktura kore izgleda stvarno, stvarno druga\u010dije, isti\u010de Kim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iako se to\u010dan sastav kore nije mogao utvrditi, Kim ka\u017ee da je nekoliko stvari moglo pove\u0107ati brzine valova dok su putovali povr\u0161inom do NASA-ine sonde, uklju\u010duju\u0107i prisutnost podzemne vode ispod Marsovog drevnog toka lave. Voda koja ispunjava praznine izme\u0111u krute tvari u\u010dinila bi cijelu smjesu gu\u0161\u0107om. Tako\u0111er je vjerojatno da razli\u010dita slojevitost kore ispod sonde InSight ne postoji posvuda na Marsu te da bi \u010dak mogla biti jedinstvena lokalna zna\u010dajka ispod sonde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mars nije geolo\u0161ki mrtav<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mars isto tako mo\u017eda nije geolo\u0161ki mrtav svijet kakav smo mislili da jest, jer su pod zemljom otkriveni i tragovi magme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smatra se da je Crveni planet bio vulkanski aktivan u pro\u0161losti, ali da vi\u0161e nije ve\u010d puno milijuna godina. Prou\u010davaju\u0107i skupinu od vi\u0161e od 20 seizmi\u010dkih doga\u0111aja na Marsu koriste\u0107i podatke iz NASA-ine misije lendera InSight, me\u0111unarodni tim znanstvenika predvo\u0111en Simonom St\u00e4hlerom sa Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta ETH Zurich, otkrio je mogu\u0107u naslagu magme u blizini Cerberus Fossae, podru\u010dja pukotina stvorenih linijama rasjeda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sada imamo dovoljno podataka da vidimo odre\u0111ene statisti\u010dke obrasce i mo\u017eemo locirati potrese koji se doga\u0111aju na Marsu, ka\u017ee St\u00e4hler. On i njegov tim otkrili su da se mnogi od potresa koje je misija InSight mjerila od 2018. godine nadalje, mogu pripisati regiji Cerberus Fossae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Istra\u017eiva\u010di su posumnjali da je magma vjerojatno prisutna ispod povr\u0161ine regije kada su analizirali spektralne karakteristike valova. Niske frekvencije koje su vidjeli obi\u010dno se povezuju s vulkanskim okru\u017eenjima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mora postojati neka vrsta vru\u0107eg tijela ili magmatske komore, dakle aktivni vulkanizam, u ovom specifi\u010dnom podru\u010dju Marsa, ka\u017ee Anna Mittelholz sa Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta Harvard, isto tako \u010dlanica tima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Znanstvenici su ovo otkri\u0107e potvrdili satelitskim slikama koje pokazuju tamne naslage pra\u0161ine oko regije, \u0161to ukazuje na nedavnu vulkansku aktivnost u posljednjih 50.000 godina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/zimo.dnevnik.hr\/clanak\/znanstvenici-dosli-do-dva-neocekivana-otkrica-na-marsu---749134.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zimo.hr<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dijelovi Marsove kore gu\u0161\u0107i si nego \u0161to se o\u010dekivalo, a razlog tome mogu biti podzemne vode.
