Neke od ovih kemikalija predstavljaju ozbiljan rizik za zdravlje, dok se o mnogim drugima jo\u0161 uvijek malo zna. Me\u0111u njima, oko 100 je klasificirano kao &#8220;visoko zabrinjavaju\u0107e&#8221; za ljudsko zdravlje, navodi se u izvje\u0161\u0107u \u010diji je glavni autor Birgit Geueke iz zaklade Food Packaging Forum Foundation, sa sjedi\u0161tem u Z\u00fcrichu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jedan od problema koje je studija istaknula su kemikalije poput PFAS-a i bisfenola A, koji su ve\u0107 identificirani u ljudskim tijelima i povezani su s raznim zdravstvenim problemima. Te su tvari ve\u0107 predmet zabrane u mnogim zemljama. No, kako Geueke nagla\u0161ava, postoji mnogo drugih kemikalija o kojima se zna vrlo malo, a koje bi tako\u0111er mogle dospjeti u ljudska tijela putem hrane i ambala\u017ee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Migracija kemikalija u hranu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Istra\u017eiva\u010di su prethodno identificirali oko 14.000 kemikalija koje dolaze u kontakt s hranom (FCC), a koje mogu &#8220;migrirati&#8221; iz ambala\u017ee izra\u0111ene od plastike, papira, stakla, metala ili drugih materijala u hranu. Te kemikalije tako\u0111er mogu potjecati iz drugih dijelova procesa proizvodnje hrane, poput pokretnih traka ili kuhinjskih alata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tim istra\u017eiva\u010da je o\u010dekivao prona\u0107i nekoliko stotina tih kemikalija u postoje\u0107im bazama podataka za biomonitoring, koje prate kemikalije u ljudskim uzorcima, no otkrili su 3.601 kemikaliju, \u0161to je oko \u010detvrtina svih poznatih FCC-ova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zdravstveni rizici i preporuke<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me\u0111u kemikalijama koje izazivaju posebnu zabrinutost su PFAS, poznate kao &#8220;zauvijek kemikalije&#8221;, jer se vrlo sporo razgra\u0111uju u tijelu, a povezane su s nizom zdravstvenih problema. Bisfenol A, kemikalija koja ometa hormone, tako\u0111er je otkrivena u ljudskim tijelima. Ova tvar, koja se koristi za proizvodnju plastike, ve\u0107 je zabranjena u bo\u010dicama za bebe u mnogim zemljama. Studija je tako\u0111er otkrila prisutnost ftalata, druge kemikalije koja ometa hormone i koja je povezana s neplodno\u0161\u0107u.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Me\u0111utim, za mnoge druge kemikalije, poput oligomera, koji su nusproizvodi proizvodnje plastike, postoje ograni\u010deni podaci o njihovim u\u010dincima na zdravlje. &#8220;Gotovo da nema dokaza o zdravstvenim posljedicama ovih kemikalija,&#8221; upozorava Geueke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studija nije mogla utvrditi razine koncentracije tih kemikalija u tijelu, ali Geueke napominje kako te tvari mogu me\u0111usobno djelovati, \u0161to dodatno komplicira njihov potencijalni utjecaj na zdravlje. U nekim uzorcima prona\u0111eno je \u010dak 30 razli\u010ditih PFAS-a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kao preventivnu mjeru, Geueke preporu\u010duje smanjenje vremena izlo\u017eenosti hrani u ambala\u017ei, posebno prilikom zagrijavanja hrane u istoj ambala\u017ei u kojoj je kupljena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zabrane na pomolu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neke od kemikalija koje su identificirane u studiji ve\u0107 su suo\u010dene s regulatornim zabranama. Europska unija je u zavr\u0161noj fazi dono\u0161enja zabrane kori\u0161tenja PFAS-a u ambala\u017ei hrane, dok se tako\u0111er predla\u017ee zabrana bisfenola A do kraja ove godine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Duane Mellor, stru\u010dnjak za medicinu utemeljenu na dokazima s Aston Universityja u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, pohvalio je ovu studiju, nazvav\u0161i je &#8220;vrlo temeljitim istra\u017eivanjem&#8221;.
